WHAT: Vietnamese pork rolls
WHERE: Shop 9, 152-162 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach
The Vietnamese pork roll is such a well-priced, tasty little lunch-time favourite that people will sometimes spend their entire lunch break in a queue just to get one (perhaps that only happens in Surry Hills…). Thankfully, there are no crazy queues at the new Bondi Banh Mi. However, after being open for just over a week, the shop’s popularity is gaining momentum quickly.
All bread rolls are baked on the premises, and the pork rolls are made to order. You can also grab a tasty selection of rice paper rolls (they always feel good for the waste-line), a tummy-warming Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) or an indulgent Vietnamese iced coffee (loaded with sticky-sweet condensed milk). There are a few seats outside where you can enjoy your lunch in the sunshine.
With nothing on the menu over $10, I can highly recommend this spot for tasty lunch-time value.
